Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- possess a degree of Master of Science in Home Science/ Food and Nutrition/ Nutrition and Dietetics / Food Science & Nutrition / Food Service Management and Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956;
- possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat civil services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and
- possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Age Limit (as on 26/01/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 37 years
Age Relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

General Candidates (Unreserved): ₹ 500/-
All Other Reserved Candidates (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwBD): 400/-
The fees paid shall be refunded to those candidates who appear for the examination.
